My presentations are fun, engaging, and educational. I have crafted unique presentation for each of my books. I often dress up as a character in my book and tell the story with puppets and props. I also provide teacher's guides and coloring pages. Please select the one you like from the Book Presentation page.
I present my books in person and also on Zoom. Please contact me for prices and requests.

Testimonials

"Thanks to Ms. Hoffman, my students were able to hear how to write and publish a book. Her visit gave us a chance to meet an award-winning author! To top it off, we were able to purchase books for many of our students. Ms. Hoffman stayed after and personally signed each one! Very touching day!"
Lisa Liss, teacher at Woodlake Elementary School Sacramento, CA.

I am so humbled and honored to have met you and got to have my students experience having a well-known author come, inspire us with your words and upbringing, and receive an autographed book. We are truly grateful and enjoyed every moment of your presentation. Thank you again and may our paths cross again someday in the future.
Alicia Todd, 4th grade teacher at Pioneer Elementary School Sacramento, CA.

"Amalia Hoffman is a wonderful addition to our roster of regular presenters! Her presentations are so thoughtful and engaging - there's always coloring pages and hands-on props (including puppets!) for the younger children and introspective discussion questions for the older children and adults. Her visits are always a dynamic experience that leave all attendees having learned something new."
Erica Roberts, librarian and events coordinator, White Plains Public Library, White Plains, NY

Not only did Amalia Hoffman write a terrific book about a true hero from the Holocaust, Brave Cyclist, but she gave an outstanding presentation on this little known hero via Skype to our Holocaust education class of 35 Clark County School District teachers. Using archival photographs and her inimitable storytelling style, Amalia gave a complete presentation about Bartali, Italy's involvement in WWII, and an introduction to Holocaust history. Her presentation is appropriate for 4th grade through high school.
